Tamil was founded in 1924 and specializes in woodturning. We produce millions of excellent components for various sectors. We do it with the passion of the craftsman and the experience of those who have a century of history behind them. Our production takes place 100% in Italy, in a green valley in the province of Lecco.

OUR SECTORS
We work wooden objects that are distributed all over the world, for many different sectors: model making, fashion accessories, toys, household items, spirit caps, perfume caps, cosmetics, furnishings and more.
WOOD CARE AND SELECTION
We know how to recommend the most appropriate wood essences for each situation. We work from European hardwoods to exotic woods, we aim to choose the perfect essence for each customer’s functional and aesthetic purposes.
Our company is FSC® certified and uses renewable energy sources
Our machinery is powered by clean energy from a photovoltaic system while our company’s interiors are heated by a biomass thermal power plant, powered by virgin wood sawdust deriving from our work. We put the safety and well-being of our collaborators first. We want to take care of people and the environment in an authentic way.
